Excerpts from EC:
Posted by RhondaAs I have often stated, I wrote this book in three separate intervals. I like to call it a trilogy, a group of three dramatic or literary works related in subject or theme:
SECTION ONE – READY OR NOT excerpt: In the beginning of my process of change, it came and did not care if I welcomed it or not. This section is the story of my upbringing and how important a role it played in my life. I would be remiss if I did not start from the beginning, although the memoirs came first. As I changed into adulthood, I thought I knew what I wanted. I thought I had what all young adults think they have–the right insight and perspective, and in the right order, mind you. This section demonstrates a youthful awareness of how life changes and how my life changed and how it affected everything. Change was happening, and I was simply reacting to the change, but with absolutely no direction. The purpose of change was slowly being revealed….
SECTION TWO – COMPLICATED ADJUSTMENTS excerpt: Section Two of this book is my memoirs–unaware, but faithfully writing and capturing the journey toward maturity and ultimately absolute change. Absolute? Yes, but don’t be misguided–not perfect. We sometimes are unaware or unsure of the direction we are going in and resist changes. But, through this journey of change, a bold account( a testimonial) was being revealed. I was unaware, but God was in control and directing every step. The journey brought about significant change. Resistance came sometimes and so did unbelief. It was an emotional roller coaster. However, it led to much needed change (as you will see) in thought, character, perception, insight, understanding and wisdom. This is the journey of one life that changed toward betterment, toward the good that preserved a life …..
SECTION THREE – INSIDE OUTWARD excerpt: The final section is the results of change, the deeper inner wisdom that changes can cause if we embrace it whole-heartedly. The direction of change is from the inside outward and never outside inward. The inside outward form of change will give us enlightenment and awareness of our inner being–the uncontaminated realization of who we really are on a deeper level. The outside inward form of change is unreal, temporary, and will not last. It is the ego, our own self serving ideologies and the desire for unwarranted prosperity in the eyes of our society–a misdirected idea of success. Just remember, change starts from the inside and flows outwardly and is for good; that is if you believe in a higher calling in your life…
Best regards,
Rhonda

To God be the glory for the things He has done! I am so happy for Rhonda. I am so excited for those (including myself) that will read and be insired by her story.
What peaked my interest? Well, I’ve known Rhonda for many years and she is a good friend. Quite naturally, when she shared with me she had written a book, it was a given….I have to have it.
Rhonda is a warm, caring, very wise person. “Change” has been resonating in her spirit for years. Rhonda, may God grant you divine favor and I pray that your book touches the lives of many.
Love ya!
February 19th, 2009 at 7:31 amHi Michelle, thank you for your words of encouragement and positive feedback. My desire also is that EC touch lives.Hopefully, through my words we will all learn to embrace change and in the hard places we will dance because of our assurance that it is all for our good. Easier said than done, right?
I hope you dance is one of my favorite songs, here are a few lines:
I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean,
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you’ll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance!
Visit regularly as I will be posting different topics of discussion and trying to keep some EC Chatter going on!
Love you,

This is exceptional! I am so happy for Rhonda, and for all of us that will be helped by her book. I can’t wait to read it.
Rhonda peaked my interest when she told me about her accomplishments. I was too excited!
I’ve always known from the time that we met and worked together (many years ago), that she was a very intelligent, compassionate, loving, and God-fearing person. This is truly an indication that God has been her guiding force throughout the years, and remains to be an intimate part of her life.
Rhonda is a wonderful friend, and I thank God for allowing our path to meet. I pray that He will continue to bless her in future endeavors.
Love you!
